Race Week in Penn Cove

On the way home from work I stop at the Post Office and pick up my mail then drive the mile home. Across and down the street from the Post Office is the pier. Sailboat races occur every July. This week is the week, and today was perfect for them with just enough breeze for the sails.
As you can see we had a few puffy white clouds in the blue sky, and the water had a few ripples on it. We get whales at times in the water in Penn Cove. Not often, but we do. Probably in September when the smelt are running through.

Boy, what a tough place I live in, huh?

SIMPLE SIMON met a Pie man going to the fair.
Said Simple Simon to the Pie man,
"What have you got there?"
Said the Pie man unto Simon,
"Pies, you dumb #$%!"
