Midnight Christmas Eve

Everybody went home, presents unwrapped, food eaten, dishes washed, last minute presents delivered, and I am sitting here reflecting on how very lucky I am to have the family I have living so close so we can share the Holidays together. Now I am waiting until midnight to go outside and try and hear the animals cry at midnight. Mom always told us that the farm animals always cry out at midnight on Christmas Eve. I live just on the edge of town about 1/4 mile from cows. I go out every Christmas Eve to listen, but never hear them. Maybe I will tonight!! I will let you know. If I hear them, the hair on the back of my neck will probably stick straight out and I'd faint!!
Goodnight!!
