My two neglected undernourished cats!

Yes, Elliott is still with me. Fat and sassy as ever! Punkin died June 10th. Her system just shut down. She was a special needs cat and sure got lucky when I found her on death row in the pound in October 2000. I had her for almost 9 years. My sister says she wants to come back as one of my cats if she dies before I do.
Cindy loves her catnip pouch! It is down to seeds and stems now. I need to plant more next Spring! It looks like she is praying for more catnip!! Maybe she is!! She picks up the pouch and rubs it all over her face. It's the cutest thing!

The sun just went down and it is cooling off fast! It was 63 degrees today and now it is 53 and heading to the 40's. I bet we get an early frost this year. I told Mary Lou we will have frost on the 17th of this month. We'll see.
Well I want to finish my Sunday night chores. It's going to take me awhile to get back into this blogging thing again. But I missed it. I just need more time to visit everyone. Sure wish Anonymous JimBob would open his own post so we can olurk on him for once!! HEE HEE HEE!

May Punkin RIP.

I've thought about it, but it's my belief that the audience - if any -would probably fall asleep.

I'm eligble for retirement, but a little paranoid about my early retirement SS supplement as my 401K isn't all that stellar, the ~6.57% year after year average inflation rate is fairly predictable. As long as I'm still working, the free time available seems fairly limited. Not many adventures would also add to the reasons for not blogging. I do comment on intense debate (local station) just to get my rants out! I try to keep it low key though. As for pets, there are none because I'm afraid they would outlive me. I'm even older than yourself! ;-) Besides the occasional chain-yanking exercise is more fun! Your sis for example, has outside interests that have virtualy killed her blogging activity. Can't really post about the subjects at work as that would draw a little more ire than I want to deal with. No chicken capers. They are pretty web-intensive also and scan the web for disclosure of 'company propriety' information. They manufacture largish tubes used in the transportation industry. ;-) Well, except LATEly. This is probably the year's longest comment. So I lurk a lot for entertainment. Well, It's 0500 and time to get started.

Awwww...I'm so sorry about Punkin.

One of my cats is very sick and I know I'm going to have to have him put to sleep soon. This is not the only thing I feel sad about right now...but it's one of the reasons I'm struggling with depression right now. And it's why I decided to take a break from my blog. But like you...I'm not going to quit.

Love the pics of your babies!

It is good to see you back on here and I hope you will continue. I'm not sure if my blog will continue or not but I'll plan to keep reading those I've grown to follow.

I am sorry to hear about your loss of Punkin. Our Huggy and Mollie are both a bit over 11 years old and Peewee is about 6 or 7. All are a bit overweight but about the only exercise they get is chasing each other around the house. I hope we will have them to enjoy for many years yet but there is no way to tell for sure.

I'm sorry to hear about Punkin, she had a good 9 years with you, I'm sure. I was just thinking I'd like to be one of your cats too...

It's gone quite warm here again and people were SUN BATHING on the beach yesterday afternoon!
